The quiet past few months gave us an ideal opportunity to rebuild my website. I am very happy with the new look .
We had a wonderful photography trip to Etosha from middle May to the last week in June 2021. It was a very different Etosha with longer grass, little dust and very few elephant. Fischer pan was flooded with water and we photographed flamingo, pelican and marabu stork almost every day on the Namutoni side. Even the aardwolf surprised as on three occasions, not to photograph, but just to see – a first for us.
I categorize my images after every trip and the more than fourty different species from this Etosha trip clearly indicates another very rewarding, successful and enjoyable expedition.
The last week in June 2021 near Kasane on the Chobe river also gave us lots of joy and beautiful images.
As photographers we are always looking for that different image, but to be there and to enjoy nature with the every day expectation of finding that special image, will always be a privilege.
I have been honoured by the Australian Photographic Society to be an expert photographer speaker at their Online Congress early July 2021. The title of my talk was : “Wildlife Photography My Way: Musts, Myths and Tips”.
